SGM Summit Rochester 2024
SGM Alliance joined the SGM Summit in Rochester, NY on October 4, 2024. The summit’s focus was on connecting trainees and early-stage investigators with mentors while identifying key research priorities and innovative approaches to influence policy. SGM’s own Garo Kiledjian lead a panel alongside Keith Dawson, Shir Netanel, Kelly Sandson, and Jessica Brescher.

Queer Health Conference 2024
SGM Alliance founder and CEO, Garo Kiledjian, traveled to Warsaw, Poland as the keynote speaker for Queer Health conference. This all-day conference, on June 18, 2024, was about queer inclusion in clinical research and healthcare was hosted by AstraZeneca and sponsored by Infarma, The Employers’ Union of Innovative Pharmaceutical Companies.

Our Chief Executive Officer, Garo Kiledjian, led a panel discussion on overcoming access barriers to healthcare for the SGM community on May 8th at the Health Equity in Clinical Trials Congress in Atlanta, GA.

Our Chief Executive Officer, Garo Kiledjian, and Chief Research Officer, Jessica Brescher, MPH both hosted panel discussions on the morning of February 14th, and SGM Alliance was an honoree for the Eighth Annual Participation Award at the SCOPE Summit for Clinical Ops Executives in Orlando, FL.
SGM Alliance Fundraiser 2023
Paul Thomas and SGM Alliance board members Dr. Michael Wohlfeiler and Dr. Matthew Schabath, Jessica Brescher, Lorena Kuri, and Garo Kiledjian hosted a fundraiser during LGBTQ+ History Month, where they discussed some of the issues within healthcare currently impacting the LGBTQIA+ community on October 23, 2023, in Miami, FL.
